Longines

Longines was founded in 1832 by Auguste Agassiz, in Saint-Imier, Switzerland originally known as Raiguel Jeune and Cie, rebranded to longines in 1867. The brands hourglass logo registered in 1889 is the world’s oldest, longest running, and still in-use trademark. Longines joined the Swiss Swatch Group in 1983, becoming a subsidiary for the conglomerate. Longines is no stranger to innovation, becoming the first with a crown-winding mechanism and introducing the world first chronograph wristwatch.
