RADO

In 1917 Schlup & Co. was founded by brothers Fritz, Ernst, and Werner Schlup. Converting part of their parents’ home, slowly and meticulously growing, and developing their business. The companies first major success came with the Golden Horse collection from 1957, released under the Rado brand. A year later the Green Horse collection would be released, becoming the brands first water-resistant wristwatch. Rado uses unique and throws never thought of combination of materials and metals together to stand out from the rest. Materials such as cermet, titanium-based ceramics, plasma high-tech ceramics, and high-tech diamonds to name a few helped Rado produce a wide range of different colors with a metallic sheen, suitable for anyone’s tastes.
