Raymond Weil

Raymond Weil Geneve was founded in 1976 in Geneva, Switzerland by Raymond Weil and Simone Bedat. Initially sellin designs from a foldout bridge table in Geneva, marketing towards low-end luxury watch buyers with varied success. Lines included spring-powered, and Cog-&-Gear mechanical swiss watches, and a few quartz powered models as well. In 1996 Simone Bedat and her son left the company, and in 2014 Mr. Weil passed leaving management of the company to his grandson Elie Bernheim. In 2014 Raymond Weil boasted an average of 200,000 watches sold annually, selling at an average price of $1000.
