ROLEX

Founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis, Rolex started its journey from humble roots in London, United Kingdom originally known as Wilsdorf and Davis. In 1915 the company wanted to rename itself, a name that would naturally roll off one’s tongue in every language, thus "Rolex, Watch Co." came to be. Hans Wilsdorf moved his company to Geneva, Switzerland to escape heavy post-war tax in 1919. A year later Rolex was renamed for the last time, to the world famous Montres Rolex SA. 1926 Rolex unveiled the "Oyster", better known as the world’s first waterproof wristwatch. Starting as the underdog, Rolex today sets the standard for quality, precision, and luxury in a wristwatch. With iconic models like The Submariner & The Daytona, Rolex continues to transcend time with swiss engineering and mechanical precision.
