ZENITH

In 1865 George Favre-Jacot & Cie was founded by George Favre-Jacot in Le Locle in the Canton of Neuchatel in Switzerland. Initially focusing on precision pocket watches, the company didn't fully dive into the rest of the watchmaking industry until the beginning of the 20th century. 1911 marked the year a newly developed movement was introduced to the market, drawing inspiration from the night star filled sky it was decided the movement would be called Zenith, and a complimentary 5-point star became the new company Logo. Zenith has always produced in-house movements, and their 300+ patents, and 2,300+ awards since its conception establishes the company as the pinnacle of true excellence and innovation.
