Raymond Weil Geneve was founded in 1976 in Geneva, Switzerland by Raymond Weil and Simone Bedat. Initially selling designs from a foldout bridge table in Geneva, marketing towards low-end luxury watch buyers with varied success. Lines included spring-powered, and Cog-&-Gear mechanical swiss watches, and a few quartz powered models as well. As of 2014 Raymond Weil boasted an average of 200,000 watches sold annually, selling at an average price of $1000.
