Information
warranty
Every watch sold by Chronostore is backed by a warranty against manufacturing defects. The specific term is listed on each timepiece's product page.
What's covered
The warranty protects against manufacturing defects in the following components:
- Movement — defects in material or workmanship.
- Hands — factory-installed, original to the watch.
- Dial — factory-installed, original to the watch.
What's not covered
The following components and conditions fall outside warranty coverage:
| Component or cause | Reason |
|---|---|
| Battery | Consumable — standard replacement item. |
| Case, crystal, strap, bracelet | Wearable components subject to handling and use. |
| Metal plating | Surface finish subject to wear over time. |
| Accident, misuse, or neglect | Damage not resulting from a defect. |
| Improper care or normal wear and tear | Expected consequence of regular use. |
When the warranty is void
Coverage ends if any of the following occur after purchase:
- Accidental damage. Impact, water ingress outside the watch's rated resistance, or other mishandling.
- The case is opened or the watch taken apart by any party other than our authorized service team.
- Unauthorized service performed by a third party.
- Any other cause not attributable to a defect in material or workmanship.
Out-of-warranty service
Work that falls outside warranty coverage can still be completed for a charge. We'll provide a quote and obtain your approval before performing any paid service.
No repair work begins until you have reviewed and agreed to the estimate in writing.
